LEO
NEGAO Vs JEFF MUNSON
Bringing
a whole new meaning to Fight First, Think
Later
Leo
Negao attending the Senishow at Birmingham NEC, 7thMay
2006, only to watch his students fight, was approached
on the day by event organisers who asked if he would
be willing to fight, Cage Warriors Heavyweight Champion,
and 2x Abu Dhabi World Champion, Jeff Munson. Two
hours later, wearing a pair of shorts he borrowed
from one of his students, Leo (90kg) took to the mats
to fight Jeff (105kg).

Munson,
well known for using his brutal strength to destroy
his opponents went for a full powered take down in
round one, yet Negao, to his credit, matched Munson's
strength and remained standing. These huge men then
gave spectators a master class in BJJ ground work,
each breaking each others guard and impressing
the judges with some swift counter attacks. Judges
awarded victory to Munson, who controversially beat
Negao on points.
