Interview:

FF: Chuck, UFC fans know you as the 'Iceman' and then there's your trademark roar which you perform to celebrate victory over your opponent. How did each of these come about?

CHUCK: "The Iceman nickname was given to me by my trainer because he found it odd that I never, ever, got nervous before a fight. My trainer had 20 pro boxing fights and 35-40 pro kickboxing fights and he always got nervous before a fight, but I just don't get nervous, so my trainer starting calling me the 'Iceman'. The roar is just something I did after my first knockout and I kinda continued to do it, I suppose it's a natural reaction."

FF: Congratulations on retaining your UFC Light Heavyweight Champion title, beating Renato "Babalu" Sobral, Aug28th of this year. As UFC's most devastating puncher, do you think Babalu's game plan to stand and exchange punches with you, was foolish?

CHUCK: "It was the same as when I fought Tito, everyone thought their (Babalu and Tito) game-plan was to stand and exchange punches with me, there is no way either one of them wants to do that, but they've got no choice. To get a good shot, they have get close enough to touch me, I'm not going down with a poor shot and if they are close enough to touch me, I'm close enough to touch them. These fighters can't figure out how to close the gap, I just keep my hands on them"

FF: You have won 18, never drawn and lost only 3 professional fights, your losses being to Jeremy Horn, Randy Couture and Quinton Jackson. In your rematch with Couture, you were the first person ever to knock him out and became the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion for the first time. In a rematch with Horn, you were victorious, beating Horn by TKO to defend your UFC title. The only person you have lost to in your fighting career and not beaten in a rematch, is Jackson. To settle the score, would you like Danna White (UFC president) to negotiate a rematch between you and Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson?

CHUCK: "Trust me, I'm trying. I've wanted to get that fight with Quin for a while now, ever since the day I lost to him".

FF: Will Dana White (UFC President) set up the fight?

CHUCK: "Quin signed for WFA, so UFC and WFA have to sort something out…but my opinion is Quin doesn't wanna fight me."
