Interview:

FF: Only one of your 18 victories, has been won from a submission, namely a rear naked choke on Kenneth Williams way back in 1999. Every single victory after this fight has been won by either KO or TKO (13) or unanimous decisions (4). Have you lost the 'love' for grappling and submission techniques?

CHUCK: "That's never where I thought I could finish a fight well (ground and pound). I've been striking since I was 12, this is what I know best, yet ground work has probably become the more interesting part of the game to me now."

FF: You have a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu, do you have any plans to advance on your purple belt?

CHUCK: "No, I really don't work on my submissions all that much, I'm working with John Lewis, to work on positions, work on getting off the bottom and staying out of stuff, but that's not to say that I can't fight this way. I surprise everybody about how much 'ground' I know. I work on it all the time, in a fight I'm gonna try and prevent it going to ground, but if it does, I don't care, I know what I'm doing once I hit the ground, if they take me down, I know how to get right back up."

FF: Your UFC title fight against Babalu, pulled in over 500,000 pay-per-view buys, do you think that MMA fighting will pull fighting sports fans away from the more traditional fighting sport such as Boxing and Wrestling?

CHUCK: "Yes I think so, look at that last heavyweight title for boxing, held two weeks before my fight, it had only 60,000 buys."
