Renato
"Babalu" Sobral, was born 7th Sept 1975
in Rio De Janeiro.
He started to train in martial arts at the 10. Influenced
by Bruce Lee movies, he joined the NAJA Association,
(home of great martial art fighters) and began his
Thai Boxing training. With an impressive MMA record,
(27 wins and only 6 losses) Babalu is certainly one
of the most complete MMA fighters in the Brazilian
and International MMA scene. Associate with the Gracie
Barra Combat Team (based in Brazil) and a regular
competitor at UFC, this MMA fighter controls all the
techniques of Wrestling, Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu.
